Service Description: Supports the not-for-profit sector through education, fosters collaboration, and promotes volunteerism * through the web portal, workshops and training programs, assists agencies in reducing the cost of acquiring, training and retaining volunteers * hosts the largest database of volunteer opportunities in the city

Education: Workshops and training seminars cover a wide spectrum of standards and practices regarding effective volunteer resource management

Corporate Volunteering: Works with Corporations to develop volunteer projects customized to their needs, unique expectations, and goals

Volunteer Community Access Program: Support for people who are not quite sure where to begin, but know they want to contribute to their community with their skills and energy * offers workshops on how to find a meaningful opportunity and offers additional support to diverse individuals looking to become involved

Diversity in Leadership: Opportunity for visible minorities and those from under represented communities, to receive training and become involved in leadership roles on Boards and Committees in their neighborhoods
