Service Description: Seeks to enhance decision-making in the area of residential care for children.

Conducts reviews of residential placements * informs and assists parents, children and service providers about the availability and appropriateness of residential services and their alternatives across Ontario

Meeting: Meetings are scheduled by the Coordinator in a suitable location as the need arises * The committee meets several times per year to perform case reviews

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Reviews are mandatory for children placed for more than 90 days in a residence of 10 or more beds * reviews are discretionary if a youth objects to a residential placement in a foster group home or a residence
Age: 18.00 years and younger
