Service Description: Run by and for young people who have been, or who are, in the Child Welfare System.

Services include: assistance in the development of local support groups * public education on related issues * research and reports on the special needs of these youths * education * monthly e-networker * online newsletters * presentations at conferences and symposia * involvement in social change with the youth and alumni of care movement

Fees: Membership - Alumni members over age 24 are welcome to purchase a $20 membership but fees will be waived if requested; individual supporting membership is $60 per year; organizational membership is $300 per year * None

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Youth and alumni 14 years and older, who are or were in care of the Child Welfare Authorities, and who have lived in foster homes, groups homes, institutions, treatment centres, etc. * voting membership is 14-24 years old
