Supports, develops and promotes policies, standards and programs related to the protection of human rights * newcomer settlement * fostering and recognition of the importance of volunteerism and volunteers * honors the accomplishments of outstanding Ontarians (OWD) and other commemorative functions. * Supports the Ontario Women's Directorate.

Volunteerism: Provides many programs and services to support volunteers and volunteerism in Ontario.
