Service Description: Community Police Centres * Police Stations * Neighbourhood Watch * Crime Stoppers: by offering cash rewards and providing a single number to call with information relating to any crime, Crime Stoppers encourages local citizens to provide clues that can be vital in the solution of a crime.

Text to 9-1-1 service available for individuals who are hearing or speech impaired * cell phone needs to be registered for T9-1-1 with wireless carrier, then caller dials 9-1-1 (must call, not text) and call will initiate texting capability to communicate emergency messaging via text

All other Emergencies/Inquiries: Police Dispatch Centre
For all non-life threatening emergencies and/or non-life threatening crimes in progress that need police assistance. By dialing this number, you may speak directly to a dispatcher and avoid the automated system. Calls are redirected accordingly and/or a police officer will be dispatched to answer the call.

Ottawa Police Service
For calls regarding Community Police Centres, Sections and Units. By dialing this number, you will be redirected to the automated system of the general Police Service phone line. At any time, you may press 0 and will be redirected to the Switchboard Centre for immediate assistance.

Ottawa Police Service Switch Board
If you have questions and/or concerns and do not know the extension and/or section or unit you need to reach. You may press 0 at any time to speak directly with an attendant immediately and be redirected to service/person requested.

Ottawa Police Service Call Centre
For calls that do not require immediate police assistance, information will be gathered and police will be dispatched according to specific needs. You may dial this number to report theft, property damage, missing person, and/or a stolen vehicle.
