Service Description: Ottawa Withdrawal Management Centre

Residential Withdrawal Management: 20 beds for men and six beds for women * psychoeducational groups, auricular acupuncture and other services

Community Withdrawal Management: Safe withdrawal from alcohol and/or other drugs, in-home or in another location, with support in the community * in-home visits and support in the transition towards treatment

Day Withdrawal Management: Sessions Mon-Fri 10 am-3 pm, for a period of 3 weeks * psychoeducational group sessions and various workshops

Fees: Service - Covered by the Ontario Health Card
Application: Self-referrals * referrals from family, friends, community partners, hospitals, police
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Men and women over the age of 16 who are intoxicated or experiencing withdrawal symptoms, or at risk of relapse.
Age: 16.00 years and older
Languages: English ; French
