Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) * free English as a Second Language full-time day program for Landed Immigrants and Convention Refugees * funded by Immigration, Refugees, Citizenship Canada (IRCC) * for assessment call YMCA-YWCA Language Assessment and Resource Centre (LARC) at 613-238-5462

Occupation-Specific Language Training (OSLT) * free training course teaches Canadian terms and words used in a specific profession and introduce newcomers to cultural norms of the Canadian workplace

Teacher of English as a Second Language/Foreign Language (TESL/FL) * the specialized knowledge and skills in the area of TESL/FL methodology, instructional techniques, syllabus design and evaluation

American Sign Language * this program is designed for persons who wish to acquire a thorough foundation in Deaf Culture and American Sign Language * participate in some activities in class as well as in the deaf community
