Service Description: An early prevention and intervention program for children prenatal to 6 years of age. This home visiting program is designed to improve the well-being and potential of children and their families.

We are available to help you during your pregnancy, after you have your baby and at any time as your child grows up to the age of 6 years.

After you have your new baby, a Public Health Nurse will call you to answer any questions you may have. She will also arrange a time to visit you and your baby at home.

Public Health Nurses and Family Visitors may continue to visit you as your child grows to provide information, support and teaching. The program also offers counselling, referrals to community resources; and ongoing parenting guidance related to health issues such as postpartum depression, breastfeeding, nutrition and child development.
