Service Description: Offers various courses to adults with an intellectual-developmental disability. * The objectives are to enhance literacy and numeracy abilities as well as to build social skills. * Upon admission, an assessment will be completed in both literacy and numeracy to provide the student with material corresponding to his/her own personal need. * Once the objectives have been determined, the student will continue to work independently at his/her own pace with the assistance of the class Counsellor. * The first semester serves as a trial period and provides an opportunity to determine if this is the correct program for the student.

Application: Attendance at an information session and an academic assessment are required for admission. * To schedule an appointment or for further information, contact the Coordinator.
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Mature student status (19 years and older) * must have an intellectual-developmental disability and have a level of independence which will allow integration into full college activity * must be able to work in a one to nine ratio * must provide last school report card as well as a psychological assessment
