Service Description: Nursing company dealing exclusively with pre and post ventilated Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, in a home care setting.

Staff are highly trained to deal specifically with all aspects of the ALS disease process in a home-care setting including:
  • Liaison with the patient's family, Community Care Access Centre, and Hospital Intensive Care Unit to get the patient transitioned to a home setting ensuring that the right equipment and supplies are in place for their arrival
  • Proper training of the incoming nursing staff and family in the patient's home
