Description:

Position Summary
Under the direction of the manager, Education Strategy Innovation and Development (ESID), you will provide a full range of project coordination services for the ESID unit, with a particular focus on the coordination of projects related to medical education scholarship and the implementation of Competence by Design (CBD), with a variety of stakeholders and contributors, both within and outside of the Royal College.

You will lead and track all projects, ensuring work plans are created and monitored for progress and tracking purposes. You also display a high level of discretion and judgement, as you work in close collaboration with stakeholders and senior-level contributors.

You come to us with:

  • A College or University degree in the area of business administration, project management / coordination or equivalent experience,
  • A minimum of five years of related experience in project coordination and in dealing with various committees and boards,
  • Ability to produce high quality written materials for a variety of audiences, including the capacity to transform proposals and academic writing into articles, reports and webpages written for all audiences,
  • Exceptional coordination, organizational, time management and project management skills,
  • Strong ability to conduct background research, analyse, interpret, and synthesize data,
  • Advanced computer software skills including Microsoft Office Suite,
  • Capability to work flexible schedules and to work overtime when required owing to the dynamic nature of this position.
