Position:  Senior Living Advisor-Future opportunity

Region:  Ottawa

Description:  

The Senior Living Advisor is responsible for providing support to all teams in Retirement and Long term care as a trusted partner within the contact centre environment, by being Revera’s voice to resolve, redirect and educate while providing the highest level of customer service.

This is a Monday to Friday position with a rotating shift approximately every six weeks on Saturday and Sunday. This position will work out of a home office and in our residences a few days per week.

Candidates who are bilingual (French and English) are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a source of knowledge to customers on the Revera brand;
  • Be a generalist, knowing the intricacies of the Revera lines of business and how to address any questions or concerns regarding them;
  • Identify trends and knowing when to recommend further investigation to appropriate team members;
  • Leverage IT tools to manage and log the contacts to support communication of any feedback or concerns and to accommodate any regulatory requirements;
  • Follow standardized procedures and workflows to accurately gage the complaint (resident, family, staff) and ensure effective recording and communication to the appropriate internal partners (Operations, Clinical, Legal, Communications);
  • Actively listen to customers to analyze their needs and offer customized solutions;
  • Record lead inquires directly from lead purchase vendors;
  • To professionally handle requests for service and inquiries;
  • Intake from hospital – receive, record and redirect information to appropriate contacts;
  • Provide Social Media scans and follows standard process in escalating issues as required;
  • Speak to Media Releases on National and Regional awareness programs;
  • Have a passion to connect and build rapport with a variety of customers and their changing needs;
  • Support Social Events within Retirement as needed.

Qualifications:
  • A degree of diploma related to the Health Care Sciences, Business Administration or Hospitality
  • 3-5 years Customer service experience
  • Ability to adapt in fast paced work environment
  • Proven customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients
  • Must possess positive, enthusiastic attitude, good people skills, and professional appearance
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, internet navigation, social media and keyboarding
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with communication technology and electronic communication
  • Previous experience working in a Health Care setting (Long term care, Retirement)
  • Knowledge of Yardi operating systems is an asset
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Screening
