Service Description:
|
Early identification and prevention program * pregnant women and families with young children who are identified as having stresses are offered home visits by a public health nurse and family resource worker
Children age six weeks to six years can be screened to determine if they are reaching their developmental milestones * Information on children's services and referrals to community agencies are available * Some topics discussed during home visits include: healthy lifestyles, child development, breastfeeding, and parenting
