Service Description: Bring people living with chronic pain together to reduce their isolation and allow them to regain their personal integrity * support and information to people living with chronic pain and their loved ones to improve their quality of life and well-being * educate professionals, caregivers, and the public about the reality facing members * provide a supportive environment for people with chronic pain where they can rediscover hope, comfort and happiness * provide the necessary encouragement to overcome illness by providing them with the necessary tools to better manage pain * provide information and resources about health, well-being and traditional and complementary treatment options * communicate the challenges associated with chronic pain through conferences and workshops by specialists

Eligibility / Target Population: Any person living with chronic pain, diagnosed or not

Chronic pain is a pain that has been present for more than 6 months, that resists the normal treatment conventions, and that causes significant physical, psychological and social consequences to the concerned person. Ex.: fibromyalgia, migraines, arthritis, osteoarthritis, back pain, residual pain due to accident or surgery, etc.
