Service Description:

The Infant and Child Development Program is a home-based program * serving children from 0-5 years of age * families who have an infant or child who may be at-risk for delays in any or all areas of development are eligible for the program including * support * information * developmental screening * play activities * referrals

Referrals can be made by fax, email or phone to Central Intake at Developmental Services where the Infant and Child Development Program is located * * Parents need to be informed about the referral * We encourage parents to self-refer * We provide an integrated approach to infant and young child development in family-centred intervention that is responsive to parents strengths, competencies and priorities * We assist families in the identification of their child's needs, accessing resources and appropriate services

Infants and children, birth to age 5 years, with the focus being on the first 3 years, who are experiencing difficulties in their development or at risk for delays in development * Anyone who has a concern about a child can refer
