Service Description: Inpatient unit * provides recovery focused treatment within a six month average length of stay for clients suffering with severe and persistent mental illness * the interdisciplinary team supports each patient in helping to determine goals which will facilitate patients in moving back into the community to live as independently as possible * patients may access available community supports while in the program

Staffed by an interdisciplinary team including: psychiatrists * nurses * personal care attendants * occupational and recreation therapists * social workers * peer support worker

Fees: Segt fees * Covered by the Ontario Health Card
Application: Clients must be admitted to the program from hospitals across the Champlain region or from home through community agencies * call to obtain a referral package
Eligibility / Target Population: Individuals 18 years and older, with a Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 4th Edition (DSM IV) diagnosis, capable of engaging in the recovery process and function in the community
