Service Description: Family support resources, programs, EarlyON playgroups and comprehensive training for professionals

EarlyON Playgroups: For parents, caregivers and children up to six years of age * Circle time, age-appropriate toys, books and equipment, resources for adults, informal consultations with EarlyON facilitators, Toy Library, Parent Library * No cost

Parenting Workshops and/or courses: examples include: Massage, Music and Movement, Baby Sign Language, Terrific Toddlers * visit website for complete listings and dates

Family Resilience Program - In-Home Parent Education: Offers short-term, in-home parenting resources, education, support and other key services to families with children from pre-natal to 18 years of age who face barriers and are unable to participate in conventional parenting education courses or service * Specifically for families involved with the Children's Aid Society or at risk of becoming involved

Circle of Security Parenting Group : 8-week free online program for parents with children aged 0-18 * based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened * Visit website for more information and to register

Parent Support Line: For parents needing to speak to someone about concerns they have for their child and where to access resources * free, confidential, non-medical service * 613-482-8173

Professional Resource Phoneline: For professionals needing information regarding community programs and services * 613-482-8173

Incredible Playgroup Finde (IPF): online platform that allows parents to customize their search for free Ottawa playgroups using filters such as day of the week, age of the child, time of day and area of the city to pick the most convenient playgroup to attend with their child

Baby Group: Drop-in for parents with infants under 18 months * Meet other parents and get support and resources from a Child and Family Worker * Special guest speakers present as appropriate * Call for more information

Resource Lending Library: Contains books, toys and DVDs covering various parenting and child care topics * Can be borrowed for up to one month at a time * No cost
