Alternative for students who are seeking a different experience from the traditional high school setting while having the opportunity to have more input into their mode of learning through a combination of differentiated academic programs as well as Cooperative Education
Provides an independent learning environment, flexible scheduling, workplace opportunities, smaller classes and self-paced learning at one of five schools

Students may apply either through a recommendation from their home school or they may seek out this unique learning environment on their own

Eligibility / Target Population:
|
Students 16-19 years old who reside within the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board's jurisdiction and have experienced at least one year of high school * legal Canadian resident
Must be of Indigenous ancestry (status, non-status, Metis, Inuit) to attend the Urban Aboriginal Secondary Alternate Program
