Service Description:

Emergency shelter for abused women 16 years and older with or without children
Support services: Informal counselling at the shelter * Child & Youth Services for residents * support groups for women and/or children * presentations in high schools on healthy dating * information about community resources and assistance in accessing those resources * if available, emergency clothing provided * daily balanced meals * toiletries * referral to appropriate medical attention when necessary * follow-up services * 24 hour staffing
COVID-19: shelter remains open with health and safety precautions in place. The crisis line remains open to provide assistance. Support groups and other programming are on hold until further notice. (December 2nd, 2021)
