Service Description: Non-profit organization aims to heighten awareness about the dangers of impaired driving, offer support services to victims, and save lives its goal is to stop impaired driving * Provides victim support and awareness presentations * Chapters are run by volunteers and include not only mothers, but fathers, friends, business professionals, experts in the drunk driving field and concerned citizens who want to make a difference in the fight against impaired driving

Victim services include:
  • Grief and bereavement support
  • Court accompaniment and support during the criminal trial process
  • Helping victims know their rights under the law
  • Referrals
  • Free brochures
  • Emotional support
  • Memorial Wall: Victims or their families may submit a photo to MADD Canada to have it placed on the memorial wall at the National Office.
  • Court monitoring: individuals attend court and keep track of impaired charges and how they are handled.
  • Victim service online training
  • Advocating for victim rights under the law
