Service Description: At this time, counselling appointments are offered on site, in community and by secure videochat * Contact the Intake and Crisis Counsellor at crisis@minlodge.com or 613-741-5590 to complete an intake

Provides culturally based talk and play therapy for First Nations, Metis and Inuit children
  • who have witnessed violence or are victims of abuse
  • children use toys, art materials, sand tray and role-plays to express thoughts and feelings
  • help to understand violence and the cycle of violence
  • healthy expressions of anger
  • explore separation
  • self- esteem issues
  • participate in safety planning
