Food bank appointments

Service Description: Coffee and sandwiches to-go: available Monday-Friday 9:30am-12noon

Dinner (dine-in or takeout): served Monday-Friday 5pm-6pm
  • one meal per person, meals cannot be picked up on behalf of others
  • no public washrooms available

Food Bank Program (in-person shopping) by appointment only
Offered once a month for residents of the Sandy Hill area at the following locations, dates, and times:
  • Thursday: 12:30pm to 2:30pm, 151 Laurier Ave E, Ottawa, ON K1N 6N8
  • Friday: 12:30pm to 2:30pm, 300 Wiggins Priv (Community Room, access in back), Ottawa, ON K1N 1B2
  • To book an appointment, email foodbank@st-josephs.ca
  • Home delivery available on the third Thursday of each month for those unable to attend the food bank in person * contact the Supper Table to arrange delivery
  • May close early if supplies run out

Application: For the initial Food Bank visit, email foodbank@st-josephs.ca or call to request an appointment * Appointment requests made in the main voicemail box will be deleted * requests for persons who do not live in the catchment area will be denied * verify your catchment area using the Ottawa Food Bank's Find Food tool
Eligibility / Target Population: Anyone may access our food service programs * to use the Foodbank, individuals must live in Sandy Hill and may only access the Foodbank once every 30 days
